Mission Statement
The sole purpose of this ministry is to offer a message of hope to those who have left their home church due to conflict of some type and yet realize that they need and desire to be ministered to through a Bible based message. “Up from the Ashes” is something the wounded solider in the Army of Christ can access on a regular basis when the time is right for them. It is not my intent to try to develop a on-line church because it is my firm belief that we as believers are to gather together in public worship (our home church) and nothing can replace that experience. The line of thought I use to reach this conclusion has a biblical base, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25) But I also realize that there is a large segment of people who are not comfortable in returning to the church just yet and it is this number of people that this site was designed to minister to.

Goals
It is the goal of this ministry to offer biblically based messages to encourage, to the believer and the curious, to educate, and to feed the spirit of the visitor to this site from God’s word until they are ready to once again return to their own home church. After much prayer I have tried to develop this web site as a useable learning tool for both the believer who has left the church for a season. And also for the non-church attendee who may be interested in seeing what the word of God may have to say when it is applied in a practical application that would be understandable in the life and times of the society we live in today. Each of the writings you will find here was wrote to give the appearance of a sermon being presented to a congregation in a church setting on any given Sunday morning because that is exactly what they are. Each is a full sermon that was written by myself and some of them have already been used in an actual church setting. The topics vary and are not designed to address the issues that have lead people to stop attending church although at times that topic may be part of the sermon. I pray that each of these messages will minister to you the reader in much the same way as any sermon would if you were hearing it in a church rather than reading it on your computer.
